The tournament will award Cash, and prizes to the “teams” that scores the most accumulated points for sailfish releases. First place and second place payouts in the three divisions.\nIn addition, the tournament will recognize a series of additional categories and winners, including:\n\nJunior Angler Boy (16 years-old or under) Award*: Top Boy Angler with most documented sailfish release points will receive an award.\nJunior Angler Girl (16 years-old or under) Award*: Top Girl Angler with most documented sailfish release points will receive an award.\nLady Angler Award*: Top Lady Angler with most documented sailfish release points will receive an award.\n\n*Junior (Boy/Girl) and Lady Anglers must identify and declare themselves at registration to qualify and agree to use the designated color bands on their fish.\nThere are no boat size limitations in the Sonar and Non-Sonar Divisions. \nNON-SONAR AND/OR 36’ AND UNDER BOATS CAN ENTER IN THE UPPER SONAR DIVISION IF THEY WISH “ONLY ONE DIVISION ENTERY ALLOWED”\nScoring\nSailfish **200 points\nEntry Fee\nThe Team registration fee is for a Team consisting of 1 to 6 anglers. This basic registration fee covers the participation of the registered anglers. The angler fee does not cover any daily boat charter expense. Charter boats are available for hire through the tournament office.\n\n\n\nGeneral Entry Sonar Boats (mandatory)\n$2,500 + 13% IVA\n\n\nSailfish Released Jackpot (Optional)\n$5,000\n\n\nMarlin Released Jackpot (Optional)\n$5,000\n\n\nTotal (All In)\n$12,500\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nGeneral Entry Non-Sonar Boats (mandatory)\n$1,000 + 13% IVA\n\n\nSailfish Released Jackpot (Optional)\n$1,000\n\n\nMarlin Released Jackpot (Optional)\n$1,000\n\n\nTotal (All In)\n$3,000\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nGeneral Entry Boats 36ft and Under Non-Sonar (mandatory)\n$500 + 13% IVA\n\n\nSailfish Released Jackpot (Optional)\n$250\n\n\nMarlin Released Jackpot (Optional)\n$250\n\n\nTotal (All In)\n$1,000\n\n\n\n \nIn the event of a tie, the team that reaches the highest score first wins.\nAdditional Optional Jackpot for All Divisions\n \n\n\n\nFirst Qualified Sailfish Release CHARITY JACKPOT (Optional)\n50% to the Team 50% to the designated Charity\n$500.00\n\n\n\n \nThe 1st qualified sailfish release will be based on and among the teams competing in that jackpot.  In other words, releases by teams in the tournament, but not in the jackpot category will not affect the sequential releases of the jackpot teams.\n *A qualified sailfish release is defined as a verified video release with all the components.
